Exeter kit car show
Discussion
I'm planning on going with my kit car club but then it takes us less than an hour to get there. It's not a very big show compared with others throughout the year / country but plenty of opportunity to see a variety of kits in the car park outside, buy some bits, tools, etc inside &, of course, see what the manufacturers are up to.
As can be seen from other forums here, show attendance has dropped off during the last year or two & it's really a case of "use it or lose it". So, let's use it!!!

I like this show, end of season and an excuse to visit Mama Stones live music bar in the town too! I will be taking a very white car, but please do not tell anyone, it's top secret!
Oh i like that white with white interior looks superb think it would look better with black wheels though.Any other vehicle you taking down or just one would love to see the X5 i flesh wouldn't mind building one with a supercharged engine too.
I'll be going, and if I finish my Sammio in time (I'm "that" close!) I'll be taking that.
But being the owner of a Sammio Spyder this year has brought it home to me why the numbers may have trailed off for this event. The weather at this time of the year!
It's in a good location and has good access for all us southerners, but as was evident at Stoneleigh this summer where the sun was shining all weekend and there was a huge turnout, a large majority of cars in the fields were roofless (7's, Cobras etc).
If i can go and take the car, excellent and I'm all up for that. But if it's persisting it down then do i still want to make the 1 1/2hr trek in the sensible-car just to have a nosey.... the honest answer is most probably, not 'as' much.
It's pretty much the same with a lot of the classic shows, a lot of the owners wait until mid-morning on the day to make the final go/no-go decision based on what the weather is like in order to make sure the P&J won't get wet

Murtaya Sports Cars will always be at Exeter, we're only 5 minutes away so we'd be mad not to be there. We'll be bringing along our latest creation.
