Hey thanks for that....

Only concern is it says water resistant....

The cover I found means it stays completely dry and dust free......

Now that can of words has been opened I will await your reply!

Thanks for quick response

Well I have to say that elite cover looks very hard to beat.

They say it fits like a indoor smooth silky one but is fantastic outside.

Might have to ring a human being on Monday and have a chat with them.

Really don't want a wrinkled stocking look!

Nine hours and counting before I go and pick up my new car.......

I am speaking from experience of the actual product on the actual car - I have used the Stormforce for 18 months on my T350. It even had 1' snow/ice on it and kept the car fine. Happy for others to comment on the state of my bodywork lol! ;-)

Mark, I had a T350T that I kept outside and frequently used a 'Stormforce' 4 layer outdoor cover from Cover Your Car; did the job perfectly - totally waterproof, although would not recommend using when car is very wet /dirty as you'll definitely get scratching - regardless of quality of cover.

I adhered to the basic rules of using an outdoor cover (and I am paranoid about my motors) especially on the TVR as it was a Reflex colour; I had no problems.

Web here: http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/store/product.php?pr...

First time I've clicked on their site for about a year and they've actually nabbed some of my photo's from the PH classifieds when I sold the cover last year!! Ha, ha! So it's actually modelling a T350T underneath! Maybe they'll give me a discount when I get one to fit my Noble for this winter!! Some other phots here:

It was £145.00 very well spent for me. I found the Stormforce cover the best value of the 'premium' brands on the market - the Specialised Car Cover you mentioned (Elite or Tempest model) is very good, but over double the price of the CoverYourCar / Coverzone ones and I couldn't see what justified the increased premium.

I make that 2-0 to Stormforce lol!

Seriously though, a great cover and I really can't see what else you get for spending more. And if you also take off a further 15% from the Carcoverzone price...

Hey guys

Many thanks for all your help and comments....

Looking good in the photos for the cover you recommend so will look into that one me thinks....

So subject of new car.... As of half eleven this morning I am now the very proud owner of T1 3SOC a very nice 04 plate dark grey car with black wheels and some very interesting bits....

This car was known to track v road and was not even for sale but after some very sweet talking by Richard the guy said he would sell to the right owner.... Guess that's me.

I drove it 60 miles home and in the wet and boy did I keep a tight grip on that steering wheel.

So now need to work out a way to upload pics.... Not possible on iPad me thinks.

This is what the guy has done to it so far.....

Someone had to do it!

I think the elite cover is really fitted and neat like an indoor cover..... No creases like Nora batty stockings!

Although £369 is fairly hefty price to pay I agree but want it looking nice.... God I'm talking myself into it!

I suppose the other question is "where are you keeping the car under cover?"
If it is in a secure area such as the grounds of your country retreat, I am sure the lovely fitted cover will look the part. If it is on your driveway where you need to keep it protected from elements but there is still a slight risk that someone will attack it, pinch it or it will draw attention to what is under it, I would go for something less grand!

Ha country retreat is a little far off the mark but can say that it will be very safe down a country lane in a nice area!

I will await a email from them telling me when they are going to get them back in stock first.

Come on then show me your covered cars.....

still somewhat on topic.. I want to get a car cover for the winter, but currently have to park the car on the street with a permit in the window, etc... has anyone through of a way of still covering the car but leaving the permit in play? I've considered cutting a hole in the cover, but that would defeat the prupose to some extent.. :/...
