I am in the market for a TVR plate, but actual selling prices seem to be much lower than advertised prices. I can get a random letter, 3 numbers and TVR for £120 plus transfer fee. A mate is trying to sell X11 TVR for £700 and the best offer in 6 months has been £350 which was from me!
I was after a TVR plate for a 51 reg Cerb and DVLA wanted £1080 for "XX" 51 TVR. "xx" being any letter combo.
I got TV 51 TVR for £245 on ebay. so just because the DVLA are asking a certain price doesnt make them worth it.
The market for TVR specific plates is falling away unfortunately.
John, Im not sure what yours wuld be worth but its certainly a lot more desirable than most standard prefix type plates. Like all these things though its finding the right person to buy.
I would love 10 TVR as you can put it on anything, however I would guess that what you would want for it is more than I would be able to justify. ( not saying its not worth that)

Recently sold 'A350TVR' for close to the asking price but took a while...
As for '10 TVR' probably good for at least £5k if you are prepared to be patient..... similar price to '6 TVR' a few years ago...
IMHO the ceiling on TVR plates is linked partly to the value of the cars they are on (how many TVR's have you seen with very valuable plates on - owners probably prefer to upgrade rather than have alot of money tied up in the plate...).
Be interested to know if 'TVR 1' sold a few years back?
Paul.

It's not for sale on any sites I've seen. It was up for about £40k I seem to remember. I also saw it go past my house on a Cerbera, but can't remember if that is before or after I saw it for sale.Paul.
