Hi,

Looking to go on a Rally Driving Experience day or maybe even a good Track Day Experience.

Anyone been on any they can recommend.

Did the Brands Hatch Rally one a few years ago in the Escort Cosworths but wasn't too impressed with either the track or the amount of time behind the wheel.

Budget around the £200-£250 mark but would go higher if it's worth it.

Live in Essex so ideally don't want to have to drive more than 100-150 miles.

Any advise appreciated.

Cheers

I was bought a half day at the Bill Gwynne Rallyschool in their Mk2 Escort and have to say it was a really fun experience

Exactly what I was about to post.

They slightly force you to drive within your limits (clipping a cone ends that particular session, and you've only got 3 sessions (6 or 8 laps, IIRC)). But the car felt nicely set-up and the instruction was good.

A mate did a day with Phil Price and said it was very good.

Would be interested to hear if anyone else has been on one if their days and what they thought.

Thanks for the Replies.

A mate of mine recommended Bill Gwynne Rallyschool, track doesn't look much on the video's I've seen though.

Anyone else any recommendations?
