Have I had too much sun or do Cerbs pop and bang more in this hot weather. I have always thought the difference between a good pop and bang was the fuel - Optimax seemed best. Unfortunately, as Texaco is my local garage that is she usually gets. But I have noticed of late that even on Texaco, in last few weeks it is popping and banging all over the place. Not that I am complaining, just curious to know if other have noticed the same ??

Mine has certainly been a lot more volatile over the past month, but the cracked exhaust manifolds probably had something to do with it.

Yeah, the hot weather definitely increases the pops and bangs coming out of the back. It also increases the number of forecourt explosions when you start up, sending ankle-biters and grinners alike scampering in all directions. Much fun had by all!

There is nothing quite like the noise of a Cerb starting up at a petrol station bright & early to wake people up (or should that read : make them jump out of their skins ! )

I took my Cerb to Goodwood yesterday and for those that don't know the circuit, you go underneath the track through a tunnel. With the revs just right and then back off for the over run - it was popping, banging and echoing all over the place .

The look on the faces of people on the other side of the tunnel, wondering what was about to emerge - was an absolute picture.
