If you were the driver for a group of gentlemen who wished to procure expensive items but decided they didn't particularly want to pay for said items, what would your choice of vehicle be? Or maybe vehicles, perhaps get away then change your ride, to keep the BiB guessing for a little longer, whilst you jet off to somewhere in the sun perhaps?

Audi RS6 Avant to start with, then two Mercedes C250CDI Estates.

Audi to get out of the net quickly, the two Mercs to split the load or have one act as decoy, they'll blend in but still offer some performance without standing out too much as a top-spec and probably rarer 350CDI might.

Non descript white van, every time. It's not about getting away fast (most city centre lights etc will take care of that), it's about being unseen. A white van get's looked past all the time, they are too common.

Black cab has to be in with a shout.

Although I quite like a Saab 9000 turbo for anonymity and power (and moving objects out of the way with minimum damage to self wink )

From what I've seen on tv, it would have to be a Kia Rio.

If I were doing it I think I'd use an Audi S4 (b6) avant debadged, then once the heat is off, swap to a BMW 535d in metallic grey or blue...

I read in the local paper last week that someone had done an armed robbery on a local scrapyard. They got away in a blue Vectra. Once you were out of the gates no-one would have given it a 2nd look. No need for anything fancy or powerful, as driving at greater than the speed limit would give you away. In this case they swapped the Vectra for something else (as yet unknown) on a quiet road within a mile of the job.

I'd use the blaggers preferred weapon of choice - Audi B7 RS4 (the Avant if I was moving some larger swag)

I HATE fast Audis BUT, it would have to be an MRC tuned RS6 for the initial get away and then change into 3 black Range Rovers (full fat ofcourse) but in a group of 10 other black Range Rovers heading all different directions wink
