How firmly should the breather be fixed at the airbox end? On my car it just pushes in loosely.

I added a tie-wrap to mine as it did seem a bit loose:-

My breather is loose,
With a cable strap between the Tube and a neighbour part, it sits tight and cannot go anywhere smile

Thanks guys mine is now cable tied!

I reckon TVR engineers must have been gynecologists in a previous life! I find my hands too big to get to the airbox clip closest to the block!

Grrr - stop it will you guys! Stop showing me shiny nice things. I am saving for boring stuff like nitrons and bump STR8Six bump steer mod. I don't need to be tempted into making stuff under a bolt down bonnet look great!

Ha mine use to sneak out in the old Cerby at 13 yrs old. Leaving wet tyre tracks in to the garage was her downfall

The braided hose was FOC from XWORKS...but the stainless compression joint cost me a bomb (about £30 IIRC, and I got it wrong first time) and fileing the end of the oil tanker connection to whatever millimetres was a pain smile .

Noooo that means I will have to polish bits of engine when my OCD gets the better of me. I would rather be driving it!
