OIL PRESSURE SENDER ON PRE SERP 4LT

HI IAM NEW TO ALL OF THIS BUT HERE GOES ,ON OIL PRESSURE SENDERS FROM EBAY THE ONES WITH THE THREADED ELECTRICAL TERMINALS WHICH ONE IS FOR THE LIVE WIRE AND WHICH IS FOR EARTH. HAVING READ THROUGH SOME OF YOUR POSTS IAM STILL UNCERTAIN.ANY INFO MUCH APPRECIATED CHEERS

There are different types depending on the gauges, the early gauges are ETB and need the right sender to work with them.

TVR Power do them.

ive just put new sender in but i am confused because the gauge reads 60 even on tickover .also when you put the ignition on only the needle on gauge goes right over to 90 then whenyou start up engine gauge goes to 60 the needle never fluctuates between idle and revving.

A few on here have had reliability issues with some of the cheap Ebay units, assuming it is the right one for your gauges in the first place?

I would try an original one before you get too involved.
