So back to work after a nice 5 week break which included driving down to Spain in my Tuscan.
Unfortunately She broke down on the way home. I think dirty petrol frown
Had a few days of sulks while I drove the last 6 days in rental but was soon sorted out when I got home.
I had bought a Chimaera while I was away so it was waiting for me smile
But now, I'm into the second week of a 4 week business trip and its doing my head in watching Ferraris, Maseratis etc driving past.
Tuscans back in England and waiting for news of the problem.
Reading the posts about rebuilds etc., listening to videos of my Tuscan sound before and after the new cans. Thinking about the differences between the Tuscan and the Chimaera but ultimately the pleasure they both delivery.

Yes its definitely an addiction.

Just thought, my Chimaeras parked at an airport in Germany, my Tuscan might not we running so its may be 3 not 2 weeks before I get behind the wheel again.........gibergibergiber silly

My Cerbera is parked up and going nowhere as it's raining so heavy ducks are paddling down the drive. So it must be bloody horrible knowing your missing TVR driving time.

Know how you feel, frustration builds when weather is crap or your away too much to drive...

Hope you get back soon to enjoy them, i think two TVR's is just greedy hehe, but a great idea smile

Just think haw nice it will feel to hear the V8 rumble in germany when you get to it....there arent many cars that make quite as nice a sound cloud9

Stop yer bloody whinging man..!

At least you only have a few weeks till you can see / drive them again. I don't know when I will next see my two babies frown

And it's the same in Dubai - loads of nice cars but so common (and too blingy).

I had four years in Iraq and missed more driving time than I could swing a cat at... And my local cars happened to be humvees or beat up taxis nevermind something nice to look at. .... Still bloody raining here and it's not looking good for the next few days.

Hi Claire,
Yes I know but thats the point, we all know 'that' feeling of emptyness.
So to cheer myself up I just picked a my rental in Philly airport smile

Errr its wasnt very good.
Loads of bump steering and tramline issues. Body flexed so much when you hit a bump, seemed to shudder for a couple of seconds.
No space for such a big car.
Loved the engine and the road presence though.

Oh and the freindly waves from other Camaro drivers. byebye
