To cut a long story short, I have to sell my beloved Chimaera because of continuing health problems, so all week I have been collating information together in preparation for putting up an ad next week. I made a passing comment to this when I commiserated with a fellow PH'er who was also selling, & was contacted by someone who I met at Wilton House this year, who had an interest in my car.

Well he came today to view, & a deal was struck, & I am genuinely gutted, even had a tear in my eye!
He is a nice guy, who I am convinced will look after my baby (after all, he passed the interview), & he may be on here soon to show off his new purchase.

I just wanted to put on record my thanks to you all who read these pages, some who I have gotten to know, some of whose advice was invaluable, & some who I have had no personal contact with, but helped with their contributions to make this place what it is.

So now I slink off the the Jaguar forum once more, with a very nice 3.0 V6 manual S Type. Not quite the same, but it is sublimely easy to drive, which is most important for me physically, & as I am practically an old man now seems to fit me.

I will still browse these pages & lust after these fabulous cars, so adios, & enjoy your pride & joy to the max, non of know what awaits us around the next bend of life.

Brook.

Its a shame having to make such a decision.
I have just bought a Chimaera from someone who was selling due to health problems.
I didnt meet him as he sold through a third party buts its certainly been on my mind.
Hope your health improves and you are able to return to TVR's.

Thanks for the kind description. So glad I passed the interview and can't wait to collect the car, but I won't be gloating given your circumstances.

My garage is now in complete caos, but there is a chim sized space cleared. smile

Roll on next weekend.
