2MB upload limit

Some of the pictures in this section are stunning and must be above the 2MB limit, surely?

If so, how do you get around that please?

Most will only need to be be around 100-500KB at most - scaling to a web resolution (say 750-1000 pixels wide) and using jpg compression (say 70-80%) is enough....

....however most people use free photo upload sites like flickr to post their pictures on here - some also run their own websites and can load the images from there instead.

If you use flickr then it actually gives you the code to paste straight into your post, eg:

I included spaces in the above code to stop it working, but if you paste it straight from flickr it becomes:

If you resize to the correct pixel dimensions (750px wide max) before uploading, file size issues disappear
