Can't help you Rob, but a mate of mine with a Fiat Coupe has convinced me to come in my riotous Puma and a mate in his lovely Integrale!

I've stuck some big brakes on the Puma and might get some sticky tyres to make up for the lack of "go"!!

I'm coming along to this, I usually stay in the holiday inn or the travel lodge at East Midlands Airport, the car park is save enough, and I've seen a fair few track cars on trailers left hitched up there.

I've seen your car before on E36coupe, will be nice to see it in the flesh.

ROBM116 - Oh! That's quite impressive, erm, I 'think' but don't quote me there are HGV spaces outside the Travelodge, I think maybe some Google Earthing might be an idea.

That looks like it could be fun down the Craners.

Based on your vehicle I wouldn't recommend the Priest House [as lovely as it is] as it's at the bottom of a fairly narrow and windy road, with a couple of bends you'd struggle to get round.

There's a Hilton on J24 but no idea about the car park layout.

At the airport you've got a choice:
Holiday Inn Express
Thistle
Radisson Blu
Premier Inn

There's the Donington Manor in the village but I think you'd fill the car park.

Could the rigs not be left in the paddock, with prior consent [do they even do that] the Saturday afternoon, then taxi or bus it into the village/airport?

Scott

Is there a half decent pub in the village and somewhere to eat? Whilst we're staying at the Holiday Inn I don't fancy spending my Saturday evening there!

Mini-PH meet up??
