Diff mounts

Just a quickie,started my ass end refurb today and wondered what the views are on the poly bush mounts you can get,Is it worth putting poly's on or shall i keep to the standard one's.Going to put standard ones in the suspension as i like the ride she gives at the mo.Got it in my head to put uprated ones on but i do tend to get carried away

I know what you mean. I have a full set of (unfitted) Powerflex bushes, but I'm not convinced I want the harsher feel of poly bushes, and I'm always concerned that something else will give or fail as a result.

Had Poly's in for the whole of the time on mine, still look fine. I have had numerous drive shaft failures, also diff mount also Crown wheel and pinion, would they have survived with standard bushes? doubt it...
Shift on mine is positive but not harsh.

I polybushed my cerb this year and fitted adjustable suspension and wouldn't say the ride is any harsher. Any one around London is welcome to come and take a ride with me to compare.

Last year I polybushed the diff and the bushes that come out were gone and my cars a 2004 model with only 20k on it. I had to remove the diff again this year to repair and all the polybushes were fine well worth the money and time and should never need touching again

I have a mandrel i made if you want to use that, then pass it on to the next person, as i used split poly pushes so should never need it again.

It lines itself up, then just need to use a long bar on it to push the bush out.
