In case anyone is wondering where the thread went about how to get into the boot if the cable is broken/battery flat etc, then it has been deleted by the MODs.

Thanks to whichever MOD done this swiftly after I reported it thumbup

I for one don't want explanations on an open forum about how to get into the boot of my car.

The know how may have been around for years but that doesn't mean it should be highlighted at every oportunity. Pretty pointless saying please don't post how to do something, if you then include a link on how to do it banghead

That is why I said feel free to delete, but you cannot put the genie back in the bottle, the hinge is not a Tvr specific thing, there are posts on how to bypass them on every lotus forum, imp and kit car forum on the internet, they can be drilled and pinned, with the hinge off drill from underneath ,not all the way through, insert pin and bolt hinge back, possibly not worth it, they still broke into mine with a crowbar, straight through the door and ripped the hinge out of the body. smile
