How long to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5

National Express will get me to the central bus station for 6.55am. My flight is 8.50am from Terminal 5.

Not ever been to Heathrow before, any seasoned travellers confirm that I have plenty of time from leaving the coach, getting the express connection and getting to Terminal 5 in plenty of time for my flight.

Never done the transfer myself but half an hour absolute tops to do that I would imagine

Where are you traveling from?

The National Express coach from Bristol stops at Central then T4? then T5 then depending on the route it might then go to Gatwick.

Checked your profile and it said Wiltshire so I did the same search from Swindon Central and NE will do the journey to T5 in 1 hour 40.

Bath is nearest for me. Bath to T5 is like 4 hours!!! Bath to T1/3 is 2 hours 10, so I thought I would do this and get the connection to T5, I was just hoping I've got plenty of time to get to T5.

2 minutes from the coach to the Heathrow Express train platform, less than 5 minute (free) train ride and a further 2 minutes from the train platform into T5. TRains are every 15 minutes.

Fair enough that is a long time as we went Bristol to Gatwick and it took 3 hours.
The transfers are every 15 minutes and takes about 10 mins. We did the journey yesterday on the way back from Gatwick the time for the NE coach took from T5 to central was 10 mins, you will be fine.
