Car cover for dusty garage - good protection or not?

I'll be using my R230 mostly at weekends and it's in a very dusty garage with a roof but exposed to the elements. Will a cover keep the dust away or will it lead to scratches on the paintwork?

What's the best cover for an SL?

I might suggest an outdoor carcoon - but if you are using it most weekends this may be a pain. There are other similar products which have a rigid frame - but do the same job. Not sure if any of them are 'outdoor' versions.

I'm looking to get an indoor carcoon any week for my SLK - but it won't be used much over winter - and is not at my house anyway (20 miles away) - so for me the carcoon should be OK.

I had a CoverCraft WeatherShield for my '64 Lincoln when it had to live on the street for a Winter... It was very good at keeping the car dry and dust free - and that was in a very windy side street! It fit like a glove too as it was custom cut for the car as opposed to some covers which can be a one-size-fits-all kinda thing.
