Focus '59 Reg fuel cap

Hi,

I'm looking to add some STP fuel injector cleaner into my fuel tank but I just can't find a way to get it into the tank. It isn't a conventional cap like the old ford focus it basically requires 3 catches to be depressed to be able to get the thing to open. I tried wine, beer, diluting juice and coke bottles, none of which worked. However I eventually managed to get it open with a modified funnel but i can't figure out a way of getting the damn stuff into the tank.

Any tips or advice?

Put the STP and some fuel into a fuel can with a spout, then just pour it in.

in with the spare wheel should be a spout for using a fuel can to fill/top up. use that for getting the additive in there

Correct, you need this to get access to the fuel tank even with a jerry can & looks like this,
