I've some modified bodywork on the kit car I am restoring and I need some help smoothing and prep for paint as I have established I am cr@p at this kind of work.

Anyone with the requisite skills (maybe work in a bodyshop or as a composite pattern maker) have any interest?

Car is near East Grinstead, and this would be weekend work. Of course whoever helps will get a decent ride or two in it when finished.

Whats the problem?

Is it a time or skills issue? Im sure we can help with the second. Its not too hard.

Dmulally,

Its a skills issue in the main, but I'm getting tired and bored of bodywork and it now looks unlikely I'm going to get the car finished in time for Le Mans Classic.

You can email me off you profile if you need more detail.

Cheers.

Not sure of the "FORCE" implication, but about 20 sq ft, 40% of which is flat and easy. 20% is moderately hard and the rest is a real PITA. Need to get it smoother than a cashmere codpiece....

i.e. moderately hard......
