Museums in Paris free under age 26?
Discussion
Hi all,
Me and the mrs are going to Paris next week for 3 nights which should be nice, never been before. However heard rumours about it and found this link
http://en.parisinfo.com/guide-paris/money/free-adm...
that to certain attractions if you are an EU resident and aged under 26 you get in for free.
A couple of questions,
has anyone experienced this recently/know it to be true?
Is there a special pass or do you just produce your ID and your polite British accent?
Thanks in Advance.

Not sure about the original question but I just got back from Paris on Sunday. One thing I hadnt taken into account is that the queues for the Louvre and Musee D'orsee were HUGE. You need to allow quite a bit of time just to get into the place. I ended up not bothering with either as we only had the weekend and I didnt want to waste half my time standing in a queue.
A few PH related tips as well..
Go for a walk down the Champs Elysees. There are some big car dealerships on there amongst the shops and restaurants, presumably the flag ship dealerships for renault, citreon etc. They have some really cool concept cars on display. If you go down the stairs in the Citreon one they have a 2011 WRC car there that you can look around. It was about 8pm when I went in so they all seem to stay open late. Also, down some of the side streets I found an Abarth and Tesla(!!) dealership (which was closed sadly)
