All,

I got a free X-Box 360 250GB with a phone contract a few months ago. I haven't used it, as I've got a PS3 and a laptop for gaming so don't see the point. I've got it on eBay for £155 as a buy it now option and a chap has just emailed to ask about the warranty that would come with it...which as far as I know is just a standard 1 year manufacturers warranty on the plate on the X-Box.

However, seeing as it's been in my possession for the best part of 5 months and that it is being resold - is there any warranty to transfer with the product? Also, I can't find any paperwork at the moment for it as I've gone through a house move in the meantime. Product is still boxed and wrapped as it was when it left the factory.

Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards saying there's no warranty on it...?

I'd lean your way as well.

Explain that you offer no warranty of any sort, but the remainder of the manufacturers warranty is in place, and he's welcome to look that up for himself on the internet.
