My pal wants to go to the usa with his other half,she did 4 years for drugs,it was ten years ago?? Do you still have to tell them????

Chances are they will know. She'll be tagged on the computer, especially since a 4 year conviction must have been for something pretty serious. US/UK immigration have reciprocal reporting on criminal convictions (and taxes believe it or not). Check with an immigration attorney to see if the conviction lapses after a certain amount of time. You should be able to get a 5 minute telephone consultation and answer for nothing. 10 years is a long time in anyone's life. Good luck with that.
