Cerbera 4.2 Exhaust and Alarm question

Hi All!

Picked up my cerb a few weeks ago and she's a beaut! Very happy with my purchase.

2 Questions have arisen however.

1) The car doesn't lock, ive changed all the remote batteries etc, and i hear that one can replace the alarm brain with a refurbished one from META. However this is done on an exchange basis, so the question is..... Where is the Alarm Brain?

2)I've seen lots of queries and grey areas surrounding exhausts. What is required with a stainless exhaust system? Are we talking ECU remap? Is decatting a good idea? Does anyone have any systems they recommend? Overall I guess I'm asking is it worth it?

I don't think it would be a good idea to encourage a post on hear as to where the alarm brain is for security reasons.

I would recommend getting down to your local TVR meet, doing this you would find out about the alarm (providing you can prove you have a TVR) also you could sample the sounds of different exhaust and talk to the owners to find out which they have on and what they think about them.

The other option is to give Carl Baker a call who is widely regarded in the TVR world with anything to do with alarms.
