Just thought I'd say, went to Le Mans and back last weekend. Faultless driving, comfortable air-con and glorious noise as it's dropped down a gear to overtake on those long straight French roads.
Also both the TVR's completed the 24hr race.
Hopefully turning a corner on the old reliability issue.

Nothing serious, slave seals have gone. Could be worse!
Another nail in the coffin?
For Fluff? No way!
We have come too far, to let it go now!
Its all under control; when ever he thinks of letting her go, I tell him to go for a spin!

Faultless run for me too. Well almost - got back home around 6pm on Monday feeling knack'd - drove the cerb to the local take away for a welcome home curry and on the way back my throttle cable snapped.
How lucky was that - 1000 miles over 4 days with no probs then breakdown within walking distance of home - I like my car!!

Saw a blue Cerbera being taken off a flat bed and about to be put on to the ferry at Calais on Monday afternoon. Number plate looked like BAD SH*T. Had PH stickers. Hope it was nothing too severe.
Apparently it had popped a seal on the clutch slave cylinder.
What is going on? Why are all the slave seals going? Something to do with the weather?????
How odd!

Actually you are probably pretty close to the mark. I suspect that TVR don't spec the material that the seals must be made from let alone durability test them. I think that TVR will typically choose the crapiest and cheapest toot they can lay their hands on from the manufacturer, in fact you will probably find better rubber in a durex featherlite.
Also As a lot of TVR's will hibernate for the winter, the seals will sit still and just perish from the fluid. You then start using them and they just give way.
