Hi, over here in Burley in Wharfedale. Just across the border in Wezzie land, and almost counted as the Dales.

I was talking to my daughter (who is 3) at breakfast today - she has just started at a school in Ilkley. One of the girls lives in Burley but my daughter thinks it is called 'Birdy'... I asked her what it is like and she said it is great as the place is full of every kind of bird and they all live in little bird sized houses. smile

I crossed the border in to Lancashire from west riding :-) . And used to visit a mate at the mental hospital in BW.

My time's split between Leeds and Settle these days - I was born near Doncaster so I can claim connection with all three Yorkshires.

We are in North Yorkshire, just South of Skipton Gateway to the Dales!

Always up for a play in the Dales, breakfast run to Hawes via Devels Bridge etc.

Between Skipton and Settle actually within the National Park and can trace my family back in Wharfedale for 700 years so I would say that I'm a Dales lad.

Just south of Ripon.

Looking at your profile, did I see you on the Harrogate ring road today, by the wetherby road roundabout - I saw a rather tasty Citroen?

Yes that was me, either coming or going to the big meet in Malton depending on time.

Just outside Richmond, and it seems on the wrong side of the Dales for everything interesting (except Croft, which is 5 miles away cloud9 )

Although I live down south, home will always be up north, just outside Leyburn in Wensleydale. I'm up there on a fairly regular basis (I miss my mum!).
