Just to be clear, for those with a mind like my own, this is not a post of a sexual nature.

Yesterday, and randomly, while driving the horns kept sounding, at first I thought it was only when turning right but it also happened at 6am while driving down my very quiet (straight) close this morning. I stopped and pulled the wires from both horns.

When it happened initially I disconnected the horn button from the steering wheel, it continued afterwards so isn't that.

Im guessing the (purple/black) wire is going down to earth at some point but wondered if anyone had any thoughts or pointers that may save me time trying to get my carcass into the footwell to start tracing.

Cheers

Notice you were the first then Peter. Yes I might have been second, but I was only looking at what you had to say.

the car is possessed by a tourettes sufferer with a sense of humour. The thought of you driving down your lane at 6am leaning on the horn (or so it must've seemed) made I laugh.

Neighbours come knocking yet ? Or are they all cussing you in private ?

Most definately in private, they dont talk to me anyway, well, not since I bought the car a year ago and use it as a daily driver leaving the same time every morning.

Though many moons ago when I sold my Mustang, I had complaints because most of the street overslept and used me as their morning alarm.

Theres just no pleasing some folk!

No there is not!
I was recently asked if I could point my car's backside in a different direction so the neighbours didn't get full reverb off the brick wall when I started and left.
This; from an ex-Griff owner!

To be fair, she was quite apologetic about it, and mentioned the baby or some such excuse... cry
