Is there any way in Windows to view the ODBC Data Sources that are set up on remote machines over a network?
We have an issue and technical services arent being helpful.
I have the power, but not the knowledge.
Is there any way you know of?
Google is being unhelpful in this case...
They are configured in the registry, so if you can view the remote machine's registry, you should be able to view these OK.
Details are in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ODBC/ODBC.INI for machine DSNs, or HKEY_CURRENT_USER for user DSNs.

If the registry not available then vnc or xp remote desktop (if xp) or failing that netmeeting can be made to do it at a push.
All above depend on network/firewall type stuff as to whether they work or not
