Here is a link to the thread I've just posted on AO.

If you've wanted a GTA'esque look to the front lights, but without paying out ridiculous amounts of money, then this will make for an enlighting read.

Correct me if I'm wrong............

These lights are for left hand drive cars etc.

Its been talked about for years on alfa156.net

You can easily do the mod yourself with an oven, sand paper and sone black spray paint!!!

These are new units and fully compliant and for £120.00 or so(for the set), not worth the bother of any DIY caper. I thought that sort of thing was normally reserved for MG Owners (Shed + Pipe + Beard + Adanoid Problems) biggrinbiggrin

Since you have to take out the lights to change anyway you may as well try the diy mod mentioned, if your original lights are Ok.

PS - I am clean shaven, do not smoke, never owned a MG and keep the lawn mower in the shed! And not got a clue on the last bit!!

you know when Clarkson puts on his 'car owners club voice' sounds a bit like an Open University hairy faced bloke from BBC2(1975) talking about integration/differentiation....

My original light units have "yellowed", plus I don't have the time to get out a spray can and get agro from the Mrs by F***ing up the cooker, with a set of Alfa lights melting to the oven walls, lol.

I spotted these GTA'style lights and bought the pair for £105.00 delivered - bargain!! Plus, I am fitting them out with a HID kit to complete the transformation. Afterall, I've spent some reasonable money on the Veloce and I personally prefer quality replacement items, as oppossed to, "I'll spend a fiver to save 50p approach".

Don't have an issue with DIY, like changing out parts etc. as if you can change your brakes etc. and save some coin then fair do's.... I am just not into lets take the "Heath Robinson" approach of some sticky back plastic and a spray can.

To me that sort of thing is usually reserved for MG Owners biggrin

Glad to hear you keep your mower's in the shed and you don't have any face fuzz. smile

All the best!

I don't think £105 is too bad, given that you end up with the originals to sell. I only baulked at £300 to powder coat my brakes, thus discovering that was my limit for pure pomp and circumstance.
