The obvious pitfall on a car looking like a Ferrari 360 is a 4-pot engine...

OP, are you actually serious? If you are I hope you are thick skinned...

Chuffing hell, 22 grand for that? You could get a real Ferrari for that much or a whole fleet of MR2s.

Why is it that anyone that comes on here to ask serious questions about a motoring based topic gets berated so much by the sites many users?

For what its worth, i think they are great cars, the only advice i would give is that if you are going to get one, get one that is 100% accurate.

A great deal of these cars look ok from a few yards away, but close up the differences are many and varied- wrong diameter exhaust, brakes, wrong wheels, incorrect dash etc.

I would suggest that you get something accurate- and preferably a limited edition- just to keep even the most knowledgeable enthusiast on their toes.

Something like this-

Amazing.

If i thought it was still for sale, i would sell the 964 in an instant.

Except it's missing half an engine and has pissy little brakes and weird wheels.
