Does anyone know of cheap track car transport service?

I'd really like to get my car trailered to/from events. It is road legal but I really don't enjoy driving it there and back. Too noisy, cramped, harsh, low, overheats in traffic, is fitted with track tyres and with winter coming up leaks like a sieve. It's a fully track prepped TVR wedge and no councours queen but it is quite effective with a nice 3.8 V8. Anyway I live in Richmond and can't store a trailer and have nothing to tow one with. I wondered if there is a man-with-a-van-with-a-trailer type service that would pick the car up, drive it to the track and then come and collect it later? I could then drive there and back in moderate comfort...

there are car transport type people on ebay or the net, but they charge £1/mile and probably wouldn't wait around, you really would be better off getting a trailer and renting space to store it otherwise, from a financial point of view i can't see anything else stacking up other than to drive it there and putting up with the NVH

I really don't know how anyone can do it for £1 per mile. Either they're kidding themselves, or they're the cnnts stealing our diesel.
