better dust down me passport,,looks like we are going for a month next septemberish,,,WG are sorting out the hundred and one things that need to be sorted,,,in the meantime we are going to the firework meet to try and get data, any data,,,,,,,hopefully it wont rain or snow or have a plague of frogs, cant remember the last fireworks meet wherethe track was ok,,,,,,still better than being at home being forced to watch x factor or essex is crap or whatever its called,,,,,,,,,,,,bill
As a footnote my son debuted his junior at the weekend ,,,luke felstead,,,better known as pitrat,,3 runs over the eigth,,all in the 19 second range carrying 60 foots in the 3,50 range, fortunatly the track was good so it held all 4.5 horsepower,,but it did shake about 2 minutes into the run,,,,talk about the other end of the scale,,,,,,,,,,,,,we ran under the WG racing banner and would like to thank all at WG racing for there help.............bill and luke

Good luck getting to Drag Week - I have to say I'm extremely envious, but my current ride (and finances) just wouldn't cut it!

Can't wait to see a Brit (especially in a RR) in the pages of Hot Rod.

All the best.

Turns out we are going to build the trailer over the winter,,,,the one you have to tow between meets ,,,and drive to the pod at all the meets we test at,,,i know its not the same ,ambient tempreture and mileage but its a start, also got to uptag the chassis,as the car turned out a bit heavier than we thought by a couple of hundred pounds,,matt is recieving lots of interest from potential sponsors so thats one of his jobs over the winter period. In the meantime we are testing at flame and thunder on heavier rear springs,to try to drop the cacky 60 foot down from 1,80 to say 1,40 which would help our times to a deeper 7.....it would be interesting to see iff jon sleath will give us more boost at less feet out.

Reduce the delay and increase the ramp rate and target boost on stage 1 in the AMS, you'll be fine... evil

Alternatively, wire the scramble boost and leave it turned on! wink

actually were going to remove the jiggle pin, actually just get jon to do it!!To get the 7 we closed the delay down slightly as we realised we litterally had no boost until about 40 foot out ,it was leaving so slow that i could walk out quicker than the car over the first 3 foot, but this is early days and im sure that we can get it to 7.60 as long as we get no engine problems,,at the moment though we have no data at all after 7 runs ,so well see what happens next weekend.....bill
