So I pick my car. A black Mercedes CLK 220 CDI Avantgarde. I do some research, best engine, best trim etc etc. I check the values of 06/07 plates. Variety of price guides note these sat somewhere between £8,500 & £10,500. I've got the £10K plus change ready to go hunting. I start my search in earnest, usual online sites and mags etc. It seems I've chosen the most overly inflated piece of metal as my perfect car. Peeps asking for near 11K and totally unwilling to budge in the slightest, traders not calling back after I've registered a sincere interest. Too many traders more interested in finance deals and even some private dreamers asking 12, 13, and one at £14899!!!
This cash is burning a hole in my pocket and excitement has turned into exhasperation.
If any of you out there has what I want and is willing to sell it for what its truly worth then I'm all ears.
Rant over
PS. Have I got the values wrong because I'm in no mood for humble pie

If you were to look for petrols... it may increase your fuel costs by 30%.. but if your saving £2k, getting a nicer car, thats cheaper to fix, then it may be worth it.
Edit: ive jumped to the conclusion that petrol clks are cheaper.
