Can it be to get the paint sorted to do my chassis
.Pulling the diff out over the weekend as a starting point.will clean all this area rust seal and paint,sounds easy i can get the cleaning products i need and the rust blast,but can i get a decent rust seal colour can i feck.Green or red only at the mo,Tried to explain what it was for and they dont seem to understand i dont want a foofin green chassis.As for the white top coat you can forget that till after crimboPLEASE PLEASE if anyone knows where i can get some KBS grey rust seal,and some white top coat can you let me know.No comments on por 15 as i have been put off by people on here saying they have had poor results with it

I see that the netherlands site is only showing black top coat like the uk, and US ebay is only showing the Diamond clear coat.
Did they give you a reason? It really narks me when a product is marketed and rated then you cant get hold of the stuff..

Bud i have spent all day on this,the company i was using has got an order coming in but they have not ordered any white,hence the wait.Really not sure what to do now as i dont want to pull things apart twice.Have started the lower chassis but then thought work down not up hence diff area first,this is a right bummer.Bud i will keep searching and if i find anything i will let yer knowDid they give you a reason? Would the US arm ship directly or is the shipping cost prohibitive. Its annoying as you read a ton of stuff go through the decision process and expect to just be able to buy it!m4tti said:

Lol yeah same as i have done,por 15(was put off)Then kbs was recommended,now i cant get this.Did a 40 mile trip to one place who said they stock it......got there they had one tin of black top coat and that was it no rust blast etc etcI know you said don't mention it, but POR15 is a really good product IF you use it properly.
ie Get rid of old paint and rust, use Marine clean to move all traces of grease. Then use Metal Prep to etch the metal, and finally coat in POR15. Do it properly and you need an angle grinder to get rid of it.

Still thinking of this stuff bud,no real rush as ive got to strip diff etc yet,but would like to start getting some protection on the bits i have rubbed down so far.ie Get rid of old paint and rust, use Marine clean to move all traces of grease.
