Which game will you be getting? COD MW3 or Battlefield 3

I've only ever played COD, have had everyone since the first modern warfare but only enjoyed MW1 & 2.

Have never played Battlefield but it has a huge following so I'm tempted.

I only want to buy one, so I'm hoping this poll will help me.

Neither. Have been underwhelmed with the COD series since MW2 and unimpressed by the BF3 beta. Looks like Assassins Creed: Revelations for me.

All these people slating the beta....it was a beta, it was put out unfinished in order to iron out bugs/issues.

However maybe I shouldn't moan keep the cod boys away

Going to try and get both if i cna find them at a nice price. Never done the battlefield thing before so going to give it a go.

I'll be buying both though.

Never tried BF but like the sound of it. And will have to have the new COD - last years was such a let down.

I agree with you, but alot of people see this as a chance to see this as a demo of the game! form what i have heard i can see why people have been put off by the beta.....

CoD and BF3 and completely different from Assassins Creed unless i'm mistaken?!

Just over a year ago I had never heard of Battlefield. My experience of FPS was Halo mainly, counterstrike on PC before that and things like Goldeneye on the N64.
Played some COD like MW1 and 2, tried battlefield and well I have not looked back.

Put it this way I will not be buying another FPS anytime soon other than Battlefield 3 regardless of the Beta testing (not a demo)
I know it will be fantastic, check the trailers on youtube if you need convincing!

I am a total COD head and MW2 was the best so far.

However, some of my best online gaming was Bad company 1 with friends in a squad.
When you get to play battlefield properly as a team it is awesome.

It will be BF3 for me.

I may consider MW3 at a later date if I get bored of BF3, which somehow I doubt. Every now and again I will play Black Ops but it's not a patch on Battlefield - just today I ran up to an enemy tank, placed C4 on it, and blew it (and myself!) to kingdom come. Then I got into another tank (repaired it first) and used it to destroy three enemy tanks (Arica Harbour first base!) as I had Warhead on (and when my tank got damaged I hopped out and fixed it).

I don't understand why people say the Beta was s**t, it had a few bugs like running in treacle and falling into the ground, but it's not like they will be in the main game. So I am very much looking forward to it (and getting another P2000 with extended mags)... I also had a great time using C4 in the Beta, the number of kills in tunnels with it!!

BF3 for me....I think/hope.

My PC is 'under-spec' as far as the stated minimum requirements go, so I tried the beta as a bit of a test - ran fine, apart from a few directx errors occasionally.
(Absolutely loved the beta, and was gutted when it closed)
However, I've read that the beta was very much a less-demanding release that the proper game, so I'm uncertain whether I should shell out the £30 for the full game.

Any thoughts?

COD series was real good when they stuck with the WW2 stuff, real events good physics and was a little serious. Then Modern Warfare came along and the single player was good but the multiplayer felt very console, and then it just went down hill with silly arcade features.

I have to admit it really, really p**ed me off, the COD ways of charging for downloads for maps etc because then I got removed from servers if I didn't have the map packs. Even zombie maps etc.... It is one of the things about Battlefield, they don't split up the gamers with maps for only some.

I used to play COD loads, played since COD1...

IMO the best COD was the COD1 expansion pack ' United Offensive' - it added vehicles and great games modes. Sadly these were missing in more recent titles like Modern Warfare series.

After playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 it seemed to have the magic of COD:UO with loads more excitement and top gameplay - I've not played a COD game since.

In short - I'm getting BF3(PC) - and, without astonishing reviews, I'll probably not even try MW3.
