cluch help please
Discussion
well after just forking out loads on my diff rebuild, it would seem my gearbox may need attention as it is making a drone only when im in 4th and 5th, im no expert but it sounds expensive, anyway, if this is the case and the gearbox needs to come out, i was thinking, while im there have a new cluch fitted, there is nothing wrong with mine, loads left on it in fact, but its heavy as f**k, so the question is, how much is a cluch for a 400, but a good enough one to cope with extra power AND if i decide not to have one can my existing one be made lighter while everything is out?? as when im in traffic, its unbareable on the leg. thanks again chaps!!
well i wouldnt be doing it, i dont have the knowledge or facilities, so would that be lighter? is it possible to make them less of an effort to press? i was reading a thread on here a while ago regarding someone who was having trouble re-fitting something to do with his clutch, so he shaved something off the edge of somewhere then commented that it worked a treat and made pressing the clutch pedel down so much lighter, excuse the lack of detail but i really dont remember the post now

I needed one of those because after the first six months of ownership, my left thigh was 2 inches larger than the right. It's for correcting 500Thigh syndrome.
You might guess by now, it won't be lighter, but using my patented "500Thigh Syndrome Correction Mechanism", it will feel lighter.
