Right then. Back from Afghan this morning so my winter search for a new car has begun.
I've seen the M400 for sale on here and the thread from the owner but i really dont fancy a silver car.
So does anyone know of any others that may be popping up for sale soon??

There are not many left and those who have them seem to be holding onto them. For a few thousand pounds extra, you can get a good paint job.

It is an option if cheaper one pops up.
No big rush and hopefully a crap winter will encourage someone to sell haha

The problem we all have,is the times we weaken and have a look at other stuff in the price bracket it just ends up as simply a reminder of how many boxes the M400 ticks in so many areas.

Might be off to the Stan soon myself. Cars in storage so all sorted if I go down that route.

There's a M400 for sale at Kerridiges in Titanium also.Recognise the plate as it was for sale elsewhere in 2007 when I was looking.

Seen, thanks. I'm back in Suffolk next week if the OP wants me to take a look (only a couple of miles from my house).

M400BYE is my old car - I owned it twice :-) Cracking motor but of course not sure what happened to it since I sold it a couple of years ago.

I remember now.Think we had communication about it when I was looking at it and then you bought it for a 2nd time from right under my nose!

Buy a well sorted 3R that is up to M400 spec (execept for pointless front anti roll bar slimmer tunnel and poss gear linkage) or buy a good 3R and steadily build up the spec to way beyond the M400 as many here have done!!

My choices are to buy a 3R and mod it or an M400. After extensivly modifying previous cars though i really would like just to keep it standard (well apart from fuel pump and tunnel mod but thats another argument).
Also the added pleasure of owning something so much rarer.
It is getting harder though seeing these last sunny days dissapear and looking at all the M12's for sale. Although i've been watching the classifieds for about 8 months now and pretty much the same ones are still there.

Claimed 'full' service histories are rather annoying as they've followed the mileage to service and therefore only had one every few years even though its listed as FULL. An oil change every 2 years on a performance car, oh dear

Here you go:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3214713.htm

Room to work on the price I'm sure with, "some service history"....
Has alot of the work needed. If you wanted, buy some air scoops and fit, change the badges if you wanted and no one would know the difference, save yourself a load of money.
