Quite an achievement I thought. Anyway, here's something for the Yorkshire Massive. www.facebook.com/pages/Gravy-Train/166225713395150 "Like" it and away you go.

Went a wedding there and I must admit, it was superb. Food, location and staff were all 1st class.

I had my wedding reception there several years ago. It was first class in every way - they run a good shop.

I love Rudding Park and have always had a great time there - food and all. May I suggest carrying a supply of condiment sachets for when you visit places such as Rudding which would not normally cater to such needs.

Just entered the competition that YRRunner flagged up. Great prize and the website looks as though it has pretty good offers on as well, take a look

It is fairly nice really.

But the UK's number one?

I wonder what the criteria are... I wonder if price and room count and things come into play? Ease of getting bookings etc?

All said and done I'm surprised it's made number one considering other places I've been!?

I'm inclined to agree with you and I was somewhat surprised myself, however I had a meal there last week and the GM was kind enough to show me around the newly built Follifoot wing and the new spa. The spa is very impressive and I'm sure it must have moved Rudding Park hotel up to a whole other level in terms of their stature in the industry. For those interested, you can BOGOF at the spa. Buy one treatment and get one free. Great as a Christmas gift! Coupon available here: http://gravy-train.co.uk/discounts/voucher/the-spa...
