I worked for a company for a few months and amassed a 1k pension over 3 years ago, not added anymore to it as I was made redundant and the operation closed down.

Can I claim the money back as I don't really have a need for it.

If it was a group personal pension then no.

If it was an occupational pension scheme then possibly and refunds are usually allowed where the membership is less than 2 years. Contact the scheme administrators.
