Vette to Camaro

I gave some thought to putting this in the Finance forum.
As it is all about Value in a few years time.

I'm not concerned about a few bhp or a few fractions on second in zero to 60 time diferences.

I like my Vette but I have a chance to sell it for a very good price and get a Camaro. Nice looking car white with red stripe, the same as one of the pics in Pascuels Camero thread.
My Vette is '07, the Camero is 2010. Both low mileage.
In the not too distant future there will be C7 and I'm concerned about a drop in value of my C6.

Actually it was my wife that said the Vette may have better long term value, hence need a few opinions so this move doesn't come back to haunt me.

Trying to avoid the spousal "I told you so" down the road.

That's like asking how long is a bit of string.

Surely the only thing that matters is that if the cost to change is a figure you're happy with. Neither car is going to appreciate in value.

C6 you say, next logical step is a Z06 or even a ZR1.
