I'm currently looking for a winter 'sensible/practical' car, though problem is that I have no fixed budget (£1k-£8k) so can't decide whether to go proper snotter, or just buy something more expensive but at a good price so I can sell on.
Anyway - just wondering what the general consensus was on prices at the moment....it seems to me that cars like the Mk5 Golf GTI are really struggling - good cars not selling and/or people accepting way below asking prices.
Is this standard for the time of year, result of the state of economy, both, or my imagination?! And, what are the predictions - pick up in the spring as usual?
