Starting (or not) after layup

I'm having trouble starting the Grif. Battery seems charged on the trickle charger. On turning the ignition the starter motor tries to turn (more than just a click) but then stops/fades, it just seems to not have enough power - there's no sign of any ignitio. I have to recycle the immobiliser and I repeat to get the same.

Any throughts to help me would be welcome.

I think i would try a different battery first, one that is known to be good.

as per previos post, eliminate the battery

Trickle chargers don’t last forever.

I had to replace mine last year, all the lights said the battery was OK but it wasn’t.
