Hi guys

Looking for a touch screen sat nav to put in my Golf. Has anyone got experience of motorised ones? They look very cool IMO so that would be my top choice.

Preferably with Bluetooth, iPod or mp3 connection, CD player

Any good brands?

I have checked out Alpine, but with all of the components, the total will be over £1300, which is a fair bit out of my budget.

I have one of these in my truck and find it an excellent bit of kit.

Especially like it as it uses Garmin for the nav and I am a fan of Garmin kit.

Why?

Sat Nav = £150-£200
Parrot Bluetooth Kit = £150 + fitting
Double Din Stereo with iPod/USB connection, DVD player, remote etc etc = at least £400-£500 for anything decent.

Or all of the above in one unit for £900 odd. Why so over priced?

You may like to see the Sony XNV-L77BT.
It has an easy updatable TomTom module, touch screen, Bluetooth, iPod and USB connection, plays DVDs and the usual stuff. It has also swipe to skip the track function but honestly I still would like to see some more physical buttons (there are just source and volume buttons).
