Just wondering if you know whether it is possible to re-code a key yourself? It is for a V12V. I have a replacement crystal key after dropping the first one frown I know with many manufacturers its a relatively easy exercise as long as you have the original - but not sure how you do it on an AM. Any ideas.....

Can only be done on the Aston diagnostic machine I'm afraid. It's for security and uses several codes (one of which comes from aston, the others should be on the pack that the key came with, these are for the lock/unlock function-don't throw them away afterward either!). Doesn't take very long though.
