Another iconic soap character from my youth that's gone. Very sad, sounds like a decent sort.

Betty was a Lady. A Lady of kindness, and unmatched talent. I miss her, we all will. When I think of Betty I can hear her laughing. I will remember her that way, full of fun. When I worked with her on Corrie she advised me career wise, personally - she called me one of her babies. RIP Betty, with Freda. x
