.... 3 and New Vegas. I've played them both through twice in different ways, but I'm looking for something else. I picked up Rage hoping it would have a lot of similar elements but it doesn't. Kind button jockeys - make me some recommendations for other titles on PS3 that I will adore at least half as much.

Cheers.

Have you the Fallout 3 GOTY edition? And how many places have you found on the map? Have you found all the Bobbleheads? Because there is so, so much to do on there..... Many of the missions can be played differently as well of course.

Borderlands is very FO3 like. I have to say though I loved RAGE - more Bioshock crossed with FO3 than pure free roaming and it was too short, but a great game nonetheless. It looks absolutely stunning on the PC; like an animated film.

I've discovered every location on both games, even going to the lengths of dicovering Legate's Camp before the end of NV too. I'll look Borderlands up.

It's not that Rage is a bad game but it lacks the depth of Fallout.

Did you do the DLC for Rage? Probably the biggest disappointment in a game. It lasts all of a minute mad

I'm less than 10 missions into Rage at the mo. It hasn't been switched on for a few days...

Mass Effect 2 and Deus Ex : Human Revolution are both great RPG shooters.

Red Dead Redemption is pretty good too if you like to explore the maps, and I assume you've played Oblivion and the DLC?

Haven't played any of those. I'll look them up too.

Oblivion is the obvious alternative. with the new one coming out too its a good choice to go to

mass effect 2 (1 is 360 only muhahahaha)

bully is another good oldie!

finally i think a good end to the list would be the assassins creed series (1 is reptitive but 2 and above show variety)
