Lazy clutch pedal on my Tamora
Discussion
Any ideas ?
Master cylinder (the one in the gearbox anyway) was replaced earlier this year, but I've been noticing that there is a slight delay in the pedal coming up when you change gear and it sounds like a learner riding the clutch but just for a second or if you fluff a gear change and have more throttle than clutch bite.
The clutch doesn't slip and most times everything is fine, but it's definitely happening more often.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Happy to be corrected but the one in the gearbox is the Slave cylinder, the master cylinder is mounted on the back of the pedal box in the footwell. It could well be the cause of your lazy return. Could be many things from a wrong mix of fluids causing swollen seals, broken pedal return spring, corroded pivot pins or possibly a build up of dirt in the linkage or actual pedal pivot.Master cylinder (the one in the gearbox anyway) was replaced earlier this year, but I've been noticing that there is a slight delay in the pedal coming up when you change gear and it sounds like a learner riding the clutch but just for a second or if you fluff a gear change and have more throttle than clutch bite.
