Just thought I'd post this just in case someone is looking for one. I was in my local breakers today and low and behold there is a speed six engine sat in reception gleaming like it's new, when asked how much they wanted for it I was told £3k,which I think (asked at TVR breakers recently)is a good price for an engine that has only done 2k miles! they offer guarantees an everything, and they're a large company with a good repuatation, I personaly have had seceral engines off them for various vehicles over the years with no problems, the engine came out of a Tuscan by the way. So if anyone is interested it's Trent breakers in Poole, Dorset.

Cheers, Nik

I must admit I had the same thought, albeit lacking the money, skill and inclination to fit it in the Mini!

How's about something like a TR6 or an old Aston Martin?

This engine would be impossible to fit in most cars, it is massive in depth and length, it's no wonder the tuscans bonnet is so long.

What would be really funny....

.... would be to fit it to a plain white Nova Merit!!

No side skirts, no crappy bumpers, no 3/4 tonnes worth of ICE fit some discrete wheels. Then take it down safebury's and burnoff the numpties.

.... ok I'll get me coat
