This is my E90, picked it up back in May, my first BMW, being only 22 i guess im lucky to have it smile

Lots of plans for it including 19 inch CSL alloys and black performance grills, which will be happening in the coming months smile

BMW's always look the part in black, very smart at 22,

theres an E90 down the street from me with tinted windows and Alpina classics, looks very smart without the chav factor

how much does insurance set you back?

Nice looking car BTW, Im on my 3rd E91 (tourer) now, and love it

The first one was black and I fitted the darkline lenses, which made a huge improvement

Current one is silver with the darklines and 19" CSLs, suit the car well IMO

But doesn't appear to have a full chrome grille on the front which means 4 cylinder I suspect?

cheers lads, i was expecting some of these questions haha

My insurance is just over a grand which is not bad considering my age and that i live in NI. I work in the Marketing & PR industry, applied for the job and got it 4 years ago, so this motor is one of my luxuries smile

The car is only a baby 318d but im getting it mapped next month which brings it in line with a 320d so i'll be happy enough, i didnt want anything mad powered as my first RWD until i get used to it.

Should actually have the new alloys on this week sometime so cant wait biggrin

I do get some amount of abuse driving this car though laugh

It's a nice car, and with the CSL wheels it will look awesome but please get rid of the 'I wish I was driving a van' tints... Or if you must have them, go for a lighter shade. The clear front window, black rear window look just looks completely wrong imo.

Still, it's your motor therefore your choice!! smile

Is this still valid with the E90's? I see loads and they seem a bit mismatch. I'd have you fooled with my E39 540i hehe

Looks very nice, especially in black...where did you order the alloys from, I'm looking at a set for my 335i

On a separate note my dad has just picked up a 318d that I use for longer trips, and for that it's ideal, defiantly a very smart looking car, what interior has it got?

cheers for the comments, the car is an SE so has the standard SE interior. I havent ordered the alloys yet, but im getting them from AutoAlloys.com in Northern Ireland, they have a few sets left for the E90 in the proper offset, so i can go in and effectively buy them off the shelf.

It is for the Pre LCI model (like the OPs) and up until 2010 build year where they started to fit all chrome grilles to some 4 cylinder models.
