Has anyone swapped out the Gemini alarm on a pre-cat Griff? I'd like to fit a newer alarm and central locking system, but I want to strip out the existing Gemini one completely. The Steve Heath bible shows it down by the radiator, but mine isn't there. Any other places to look?

Will send you a PM. I removed the original and have the wiring diagram worked out, so you should be able to swap in another unit pretty easily.

jeboa, were you able to replace the alarm using the existing wiring to the central locking, fuel pump (ie. at the connector block in the wing(or did you have to rewire the entire thing ?

Hi there - I have a 1992 Griffith 4.3 precat and would like to replace the Gemini fob as it is about to disintegrate on me. Can anyone advice me if this fob can be copied or will I need to replace the whole system?
Thanks

I ended up pulling the Gemini out and puttng in a Toad - not that bad a job in the end. Took about 5 hours including tea-breaks. Loads of suitable systems on Ebay.

Hi B&G, would you be so kind as to PM me details of the job you did and the 'toad' system as my Gemini system on my 4.3 is continually playing up and needs replacing? Much appreciated and many thanks in advance, Pete
