BMW 130i traction control issues

Hi all,

I wonder if you can help me. I have noticed lately that after a hot start the traction control will interfere and cut all power for about 3 seconds, even with tiny throttle openings and using a high gear. This only happens after a hot start and has nothing to do with the car actually losing traction. It just flashes away any time I go near the throttle and this occurs intermittently for about a minute and then it all settles down again. It's annoying because it makes the car feel incredibly weird and unsettled, especially when it happens in corners.

Does anyone know what it might be?
