It's a detailingworld wet dream, they'd probably pay over the odds for such a car just to be able to use the term "barn find".

The advert says "Has been parked up for last 4 years under cover." Yes but clearly not "a" cover and in the worlds dustiest garage. I've got stuff sat in my garage that's been there for 10 years without being moved and doesn't have that much crap on it.

1986 380Sl, B******S. About as true as being parked up under cover for 4 years! maybe in a Cow Shed. They didn'y make a 380SL in 1986.
Oh, surprise, surprise If you read the small print it is a 280! But the wheels are not off a 1986.
If the rot is anything to go by on the front bumper and wings, hell only knows what the rest of it is like.

I'll eat my shorts. The engine does look like a V8 so probably is a 380. however 1986! Cough!

I think the dust is holding it together! Go at that with a jet wash and there will be nothing left!

Always wanted one of those older Mercs though, timeless and still look stunning, just not that one hehe
